The Icom Menu settings in the radio: "Menu"->"set"->"Connectors"->"CI-V"-> CI-V Baud Rate Auto CI-V Address 94h CI-V Transceive ON CI-V USB Remote Transceive Adress 00h CI-V Output (for ant) off CI-V USB Port Unlink from CI-V USB Baud Rate 19200 (Make sure you select "19200" on the menu pulldown in the Rig Configuration page) CI-V USB Echo Back ON Once it opens, go to the top of the program and select "Configuration", and choose those selections matching those in the screenshots I have taken. To start the program once its installed open a terminal window. Plug in your USB cable from the computer to the Icom 7300. Up to this point I haven't transmitted, but maybe tonight. My Icom 7300 only uses the USB cable from my Dell Vostros 220S 64 bit 3gig computer to the 7300. Then, today after hours of frustration I ended up at this link. I run it for fun, and have only been using it a couple of months. I tried other methods but for the life of me just could not get my usb ports to connect to the radio. I'll have to update the exact link, so it will be updated for future revisions. I found the Icom 7300 xml file on Sourceforge. You will use this XML file to point to when you manually configure your radio after FLdigi is installed. (attached) Download it and put it somewhere you want, (Desktop, Documents, HOME).
